I recently spent a lovely city break at Residencia Maria Jose, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The warm hospitality from the owner struck a chord, and the cleanliness of the room made our stay all the more enjoyable. We also appreciated the free WiFi throughout the property-it's a lifesaver when you want to keep updated on marine conservation efforts from back home in Auckland. The location was fantastic, with a supermarket nearby for our essentials, although the lively bar downstairs added a bit of nighttime energy that might not suit every traveler. It didn't bother us, though; it was nice to unwind with a drink after exploring the beautiful surroundings. All in all, if you're looking for a comfortable stay in Leiria, with great amenities and a welcoming vibe, I highly recommend Residencia Maria Jose!
